DA desaturates!!

One thing I have noticed, and I am not sure if anyone else has, is that DA seems to be desaturating my work now. It never used to.. I used to only do minor edits. Now I do complete overhauls on color, saturation, contrast and lighting, etc. Maybe I am making it too diverse, and DA brings it down? I don't know but it is really really annoying. If I take a picture and it looks lifeless, I edit it to make it look vibrant and bright, and then DA brings it back to lifeless. How annoying for an art website...

I just ordered and received a Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM lens.. am very excited about it, and it has already proved to be amazing (I think so anyway!) It beats my kit lens, for sure. Will be posting more pictures, probably of cats, but hope to practice and post some portraits soon. Would love to get proficient at it.
